How do you budget projects?
Our work is priced according to the needs of each project. We use a tiered pricing system, so you pay a different hourly fee for various skills needed: project management, procedure writing, Instructional Design, graphic design, coaching, etc. This system allows you to get the most for your investment.
Our contracts outline the number of hours for each type of work associated with each type of deliverable and provide you with a range of costs for the entire project. We bill you only for actual hours worked and partner with you to ensure we stay within the scope of each contract, or together redefine that contract.

What are our first steps?
Call us! We'll talk with you about issues your organization is facing and how we can work with you to address those issues. We will provide you with work samples and references.
If you think we are the right fit for the project, we’ll move forward with discussions to determine the scope of the project and anticipated outcomes. If for any reason you don't feel we are perfect for this project, at the very least we'll know each other and you'll know when we do fit for that project down the road.

What type of work do you do? What is your area of expertise?
Our area of expertise is Performance Improvement. We help organizations improve the performance of their employees by providing these types of services:

Isn’t it expensive to develop custom materials? Why can’t we just use something off the shelf?
Depending on your particular needs, there may be “off-the-shelf” training packages, and other performance improvement materials, that will work for you. Part of our assessment will help you determine what already exists that can be leveraged to meet your needs.
The issue with many existing programs is that they’re generic. Research shows that the most effective performance improvement solutions are job and task specific. For example, it may be helpful to teach employees general customer service skills, but they are more likely to apply those skills in the workplace if they have practice with “real life” scenarios specific to their day-to-day experience.
Whether you purchase off-the-shelf materials or custom-design your own, you are making an investment. And that investment will be negligible if you get the desired results. Since you want to yield maximum return on that investment, custom-designed materials are more likely to get you there.

Where are you located? Do you work from there, or at our location?
Our world headquarters is located in Chandler, Arizona, just outside of Phoenix. We have associates located in multiple locations throughout the United States and we travel to meet clients’ needs if necessary. However, with the technology available to us today, we more often than not work with clients we never meet in person. We conduct business via phone, email, teleconference and overnight delivery!
We work wherever it makes most sense for you. For larger scope, longer-term projects, sometimes it makes sense to have an on-site presence and access to the people, systems and processes around which we are working. In other cases, we can visit your site as needed but complete most of our work from our offices.

Why would we need your help?
There are three primary reasons you might need our help:
- Resources: sometimes you simply do not have the manpower to accomplish what needs to be done, when it needs to be done! We supply the “pair of hands” to work with you, completing tasks that need to be done.
- Expertise: your organization may not have the particular expertise you require to meet your performance improvement needs. We provide that expertise.
- Time: if you and your staff don’t have time to complete a project, we do.

What is Performance Improvement?
Performance improvement is the key component of Human Performance Technology, which takes a systems view of human performance. This view adheres to the wisdom that organizations and their employees must be aligned to achieve results.
Performance improvement is a holistic approach to helping businesses improve employee performance. It is the study of why employees do not perform as desired, the reasons for the gaps between desired and actual performance and what can be done to fill the gap.

What is Instructional Design?
Instructional Design is the systematic development of learning solutions, using learning and instructional theory to ensure quality instruction. It is the entire process of the analysis of learning needs and goals and the development of a delivery methodology to facilitate learning, in order to meet those needs.

How do you help us improve performance if you are not experts in our business or industry?
Our area of expertise is performance improvement and Instructional Design. In many ways, we better assist you because we are not experts in your industry. We are highly skilled at working with your subject matter experts and quickly understanding the need you want to fulfill. Not embedded in your industry, we can easily identify the issues and questions that may arise for your audience. We know how to design and deliver solutions that best meet their needs.
All that being said, we also have a variety of experience in different industries. We call on our vast experience to ensure your projects results.

Who is the audience for the work you do? Who benefits from it?
The audience for our various solutions differs, depending on the specifics of each project. Generally, our target audience, depending on the training, is all or a sub-grouping of employees within your organization – be they line-workers, supervisors, managers or executives. Since our work is focused on improving performance, both individual employees and organizations benefit. As employees perform better in their jobs, they are not only more productive, but also more satisfied. As individual employees are more productive and satisfied, organizations tend to perform better as well.

My team is already working on the project. How could my team and The GMarie Group collaborate?
We partner with existing teams all the time. We work with your team to determine what needs you have, and then fill in the gaps with the appropriate expertise from our team. Our team collaborates with yours, filling whatever roles are needed.

What scope of work can you handle? Sometimes we have really large projects.
We handle all sizes of projects. The beauty of our flexible team approach is that we custom-design teams to meet your needs. We have the capacity to expand as needed, based on our current project list and client needs. In this manner we have very successfully handled projects of all dimensions, and would be very pleased to talk to you about projects similar in scope to yours.
