One way to enhance employee performance is by providing training. We meet your needs by providing the following training solutions:
Needs Assessment
Using a variety of assessment methods, we help you determine true performance gaps, so you can provide a training solution to meet the real need, not simply the presumed or assumed need. Methods we utilize include:
- gap analysis
- job shadowing
- focus groups
- performance measurement analysis
- task analysis
- job analysis
- performance review data analysis
- employee/manager/leader interview
- benchmarking
At the conclusion of the assessment stage, we deliver a needs assessment report and suggested curriculum plan that outlines training methodologies and approaches to meet the discovered needs. Working with you, we analyze the results and determine the path forward.
Of course, if you have already conducted an assessment, we will work with your findings to produce materials to reach desired outcomes.

Design
The design of any learning solution is the blueprint for all that follows – materials, content, methodologies, timing, instructional flow, and content chunking. We create design documents to guide the development of materials. We create designs based on your internal assessment of the needs or an assessment we have conducted together.
Each instructional component of a curriculum is developed around a G2D2™ - GMarie Group Design Document. This way, you review the design long before development begins. The result? Materials that support the performance improvement solution.
To review a sample G2D2™, contact us.
Materials Development
Once the assessment and design phases are complete, we offer a wide variety of material formats to support your solution. We develop formats according to your internal design standards and requirements. If your organization has not yet defined internal design standards, we help you create them.
Here are a few examples:

Instructor-Led Training Materials Classroom training, led by an instructor
or facilitator, is often an effective means of training employees — especially
when practice and demonstration of skills is required. When your performance
improvement solution includes instructor-led classroom training, we custom-design
these materials:
- Facilitator/Instructor Guides
- Participant Guides
- Job aids and handouts
- Visuals (PowerPoint™ presentations, flipcharts, etc.)

Self-Study Training Materials Self-study materials completed by participants
in their work environment are often useful means of reaching employees.
Self-study is especially effective when conveying small bits of specific
information that do not require immediate behavior change. It’s also a
cost-effective way to reach many employees simultaneously. We design these
types of self-study training materials:
- Interactive Participant Workbooks
- Coach/Supervisor Support Guides

Web-Based Training Materials Web-based and computer-based training
approaches are often effective, especially when your training audience
is widespread. It is a useful training methodology for many types of subject
matter. After assessment and design of web-based training, we develop
storyboards, and engage web developers to ensure the instructional integrity
of the end product. We work with our preferred vendor, SweetRush, your
internal web developers, or your preferred web development vendor.

Distance Learning Training Materials As technology advances, methodologies
for conducting distance learning are continuing to advance as well. We
create materials to support distance-learning methodologies your organization
might employ, such as MS NetMeeting™, WebEx™, Pixion Picturetalk™ or other
teleconference or video-conference-based training methods.

Implementation
Once the materials development is complete, it’s time to implement! We offer a variety of services to help you successfully implement the materials you have worked so hard to design and develop. These services include:
- Implementation plans and implementation management strategies
- Train-the-trainer design, development and delivery
- Training delivery
- Training facilitation

Training Evaluation
Well, you’ve done it! The performance improvement solution has been implemented. You have completed an assessment, designed an approach, developed materials and implemented your solution. Now what? During evaluation, we determine the extent to which the earlier phases have been effective. Using Kirkpatrick’s™ model of training evaluation, we help you determine which levels of evaluation you will conduct and how you will do it. We develop tools and scoring mechanisms to support evaluation at these levels:
- Level 1 - Reaction
- Level 2 - Learning
- Level 3 - Behavior
- Level 4 - Results
